This tool is designed to make reading Penn State Scantrons easier and more efficient. It’s free to use for professors to grade and analyze their students’ tests that are taken on Scantrons.

No longer do you need to brave the cold Pennsylvania weather to visit the Pollock Testing Center. This tool uses custom-developed algorithms specifically designed for this type of Scantron, streamlining the grading process.

My name is Marc Mandt, and I am a Computer Science student at University Park, Happy Valley, PA. The development of this tool stemmed from an idea my statistic and probability professor, Dr.Hunter, had. As a Professor, he often found the process of grading Scantron tests cumbersome, and we wanted to create a more efficient solution for professors. This tool is the result of that effort, combining my knowledge in computer science and a desire to help the academic community.
